Exodus 34:
5 ¶ And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
Now that you are in Christ, the Bible says in 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
You are now under new covenant or legal system.
You are now under new obligation and expectations.
In the advent of early believers, the journey of knowing the mind of the Lord was a long painstaking one. Many senior believers like Apostle Peter had a lot of difficulties in understanding the plan and purpose of salvation. It was not their fault, since it was the plan of God as ordained in:
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (KJV).
However, with the advent of information age as prophesized in the scripture above and increasing persecution of the gospel globally overtly and subtly by secularism and modernization, church ministry is fast losing its popularity unlike industrial age era.
Hence there is need to help new believers be informed of the fundamentals of the salvation plan and purpose of God, especially as it relates to end time events.
This guide attempts to weave together relationship and mix of process, procedures and various concepts within the salvation plan of God.
The intention is in fulfillment of the prophecies of Daniel 12:4 and Matthew 24:14. So that new believers no longer have to wait for lengthy painstaking years before fully understanding the plan and purpose of God for their lives.
